PERFORMANCE
In addition to his work as a composer, David is a pianist known for his advocacy of new music. He frequently performs both as a soloist and with ensembles such as Out of Context, Ossia, and Eastman's Musica Nova. David's current projects include recitals with oboist Alison Lowell and performances of his own compositions and transcriptions, along with other new music, with the Los Angeles-based ensemble Out of Context. David is always interested in new performance projects, especially if they involve newly composed music or interesting programs of "Romantic"-era music by Liszt and his contemporaries.
